Psychotherapist

Trevor works as both a Registered Psychotherapist and Psychometrist, and is also a Certified Music Therapist. 

 He completed his Master’s of Counselling Psychology at Yorkville University. Prior to that, he attended Wilfrid Laurier University for his undergraduate degree in music therapy and psychology.

Trevor often integrates cognitive behavioural (CBT), dialectical behavioural (DBT), strengths-based, and internal family system (IFS), and psychoeducation  into his work. These techniques help build emotional awareness, while providing tools and skills to support mental health and well-being through the “ups and downs” of life. Trevor includes music, play, art, and games to help build an engaging and supportive space for children and youth.

Trevor also works as a psychometrist at McMaster Children’s Hospital conducting neuropsychological assessments in pediatric neurosurgery, and is involved in the comprehensive pediatric epilepsy program.

 In his free time, he enjoys playing the piano, golf, figure skating, checking out new restaurants, and beating his friends in Mario kart!
