Melissa Lowe

Melissa (she/her) is a registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers.
Over the past 15 years, she has had the privilege of working alongside children and youth to help improve their social emotional health and well-being. Melissa also helps parents and caregivers navigate various challenges and guides them in finding the best ways to support their child’s development. Throughout her career, Melissa has worked in a variety of settings, including residential treatment programs, women’s shelters, community mental health clinics, schools, and private practices.

Her clinical expertise has been developed through extensive training in several evidence based approaches including; the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Narrative Therapy. She also hold’s a Children’s Grief and Bereavement Certificate from Sick Kids.
