Occupational Therapist

Megan completed her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at The University of Toronto after graduating from Queen’s University with a Bachelor’s of Science majoring in Biology and minoring in Psychology. She is registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario and is a member of the Ontario Society of Occupational Therapists.

Megan has worked as an occupational therapist within both school and home healthcare settings, providing services to children aged 0-18. Megan has worked with children to help them achieve goals in areas impacting participation in everyday activities by addressing challenges with feeding, self-care, fine motor, gross motor, written output, sensory processing, self-regulation, visual motor and visual perceptual skills.

Megan believes that it is crucial to provide client-centered services with a focus on targeting meaningful goals that will maximize the child’s occupational potential in the areas of self-care, school work or leisure activities. She ensures that while using evidence-based techniques, her sessions are also motivating, purposeful and fun!  In her spare time, Megan enjoys spending time with her family, downhill skiing, camping and canoeing.
