Speech-Language Pathologist

Jelena is a registered Speech-Language Pathologist with the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologist of Ontario (CASLPO). She obtained her Master of Health Science in Speech-Language Pathology at the University of Toronto.

Jelena has experience in public and private services with pre-school and school-aged children with a variety of communication needs. She received her certification in More Than Words from the Hanen Centre and is particularly passionate about providing families with early language strategies and supporting children with social communication needs. She has also completed the Motor Speech Training workshop from the Speech and Stuttering Institute.

Jelena is fluently bilingual in both English and Serbian. If your child speaks another language, she would love to learn a word or two! When she is not at Canoe, Jelena enjoys traditional dancing or flying somewhere sunny.
