Isabella is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She holds a Master of Social Work degree from McMaster University.
Isabella has many years of experience working with young people providing academic and career support within a university environment. She has also assisted students with school transitions, cultural adjustment and academic accommodations. In the last few years, Isabella has been working in a community-based mental health agency where she supports youth (ages 12-18) and their families to overcome the impact of mental health challenges.
Isabella’s passion is to support teens from a strengths-based approach by providing them with a safe space to share their stories and by working alongside them to develop strategies to address their mental health needs. Isabella often incorporates modalities such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-based therapy and Solution Focused counselling in her sessions. She is also trained in ASIST, emotional intelligence, and academic counseling. Isabella has experience and knowledge in:

In her spare time, Isabella enjoys spending time with her two teenage children, her husband and her two cats. She enjoys hiking, kayaking, yoga and testing out new baking recipes.
