Creative Writing Workshop
/A fun, group-based after-school activity that uses creative writing prompts to help kids reflect and learn how to better cope with stress and anxieties. This therapeutic program will use storytelling and writing as a backdrop to teach children an awareness of stress triggers, how stress or anxiety can affect them, and, most importantly, how to overcome these challenges. Our goal is resilience and fun while learning to hone their writing skills. This group is for kids in grades 5-8 who enjoy writing or have basic writing skills.
This group will be run by Cory Bentley, a registered psychotherapist, and Trish Bentley, author and creative writing teacher.
