Rebecca Duarte Palma
Senior Therapist
Rebecca holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Psychology of Human Behaviour and a Graduate Certificate in Autism and Behavioural Science. With four years of experience in early childhood education, Rebecca has developed a deep love for working with learners of all ages. Over the past two years, she has worked directly with our learners at Canoe Therapy and is thrilled to step into her new role as a Senior Therapist, where she will continue to support our learners and their families.
Rebecca’s passion for teaching, advocacy, and Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) drives her dedication to the field. She is committed to pursuing further education in Applied Disability Studies to enhance her ability to positively impact the lives of the children she works with. Rebecca firmly believes in the importance of creating meaningful goals for children and incorporating learning opportunities in natural environments to foster development.
Outside of her professional life, Rebecca is an enthusiastic foodie who loves cooking and baking. Rebecca cherishes spending quality time with family and friends and finds joy in playing the piano.
