Saadia Doiron
HBSc , MSc(PT), PT Reg (ON) Physiotherapist
Physiotherapist
Saadia is a registered Physiotherapist with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPSO). She earned her Honours Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Toronto and subsequently completed her Master’s Degree in Physiotherapy at McMaster University. She has been practicing for nearly 10 years and has extensive experience working with children of all ages (newborn to 18 years old).
Saadia is a strong advocate for evidence-based rehabiliation and has provided tailored assessments and treatments for a wide variety of neurological and gross motor diagnoses (e.g., cerebral palsy, muscular dystrophy, Williams syndrome, concussions, torticollis, in-toeing, developmental coordination disorder, to name a few). She uses creative, play-based activities to achieve functional skills and gross motor milestones. She both loves and welcomes the challenge of having to “think outside the box” when working with a paediatric population!
With two young children of her own, Saadia understands the importance of providing a family-centred approach to care. She will work collaboratively with your family and other allied health professionals to improve your child’s mobility, strength, and coordination. She also hopes to empower parents with the tools they need to continue supporting their child’s progress at home.
