Nicole Dass is a Registered Social Worker with the OCSWSSW. She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and an honours degree in Sociology from McMaster University. Nicole is passionate about working with children, youth, and their families to address mental health concerns.

With ten years experience working with individuals with disabilities, Nicole works from a person-centred, strengths-based approach and adapts therapeutic styles based on the needs of each child and adolescent. Collaboratively, we will build on your current skills and develop new strategies to improve your mental well-being.

Nicole is experienced in utilizing aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Narrative Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy during treatment. Nicole is certified in safeTALK and ASIST training to ensure that she can support clients experiencing suicide ideation.

When she is not in the office, you can find Nicole socializing with her family and friends, walking with her dog and exploring local parks and trails.

Nicole is excited to be a part of the Canoe team and is looking forward to connecting with you and your family.
