Nicole Dass

Social Worker
Nicole is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW). She holds a Master of Social Work degree from Wilfrid Laurier University and an Undergraduate degree in Sociology from McMaster University.
Nicole has worked in a variety of settings and is passionate about supporting children, youth, and their families. She prides herself on being compassionate, understanding, transparent, down to earth and non-judgemental. Nicole strives to develop trusting therapeutic relationships with clients to create a space where they feel safe, respected, supported and understood.
Nicole’s approach to therapy is eclectic and is grounded in trauma-informed, anti-oppressive and strengths-based practices. She meets clients where they are at and adapts therapeutic styles based on the needs of each individual. Nicole strives to empower children, youth and their families to make the changes they wish to see in their lives.
Nicole is experienced in utilizing aspects of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy and Solution-Focused Therapy to address a variety of concerns including:

In her free time, Nicole enjoys spending time with her family and friends, walking with her dog, being near the water and exploring new places.
