Louise Stofberg

Louise is a registered Occupational Therapist with over two decades of experience supporting children and youth across a variety of settings in both Canada and South Africa. She holds a Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from the University of Witwatersrand. Louise is certified in Ayres Sensory Integration® and registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario.

Louise has worked extensively in private practice, school-based therapy, and clinical settings, helping children with challenges in areas such as sensory processing, self-regulation, emotional regulation, fine and gross motor coordination, motor planning, written output and executive functioning. She has a particular interest in sensory integration and brings an evidence-informed, play-based approach to all her sessions. Her warm, collaborative style empowers children and their families, helping them build confidence and achieve meaningful goals in areas of occupational performance. 

Louise is passionate about working in partnership with families and believes that empowering parents through education, collaboration, and coaching is essential to supporting a child’s success across environments.

Outside of work, Louise enjoys spending time with her furchild, travelling, being in nature, or engaged in creative projects.
