Kirsty Edwards
Occupational Therapist
Kirsty is an Occupational therapist that practices psychotherapy. She obtained her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto. She is registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO).
In addition to her credentials as an OT, Kirsty has completed training in psychotherapy that includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT). Kirsty merges counselling with occupational therapy to provide a holistic and personalized approach for each client that includes both mental health support and engagement in daily life skills.

Kirsty uses evidence-based and play-based approaches to inspire motivation and engagement in the strategies. She believes in developing a strong therapeutic relationship and incorporating kiddos specific interests to help therapy be an enjoyable experience rather than a chore.
Outside of work, Kirsty enjoys spending time with her 4 fur babies, learning more about the world and the humans in it, being with friends and being active. Kirsty believes in maintaining a balanced life and staying connected to the things that bring her joy and inspiration.
