Fatima Minhas

RP (Q)

Fatima is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with a background in mental health and psychotherapy. She completed her Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy at University of Toronto.

Fatima believes therapy should feel like a space where clients can slow down, feel understood, and explore their experiences in ways that feel authentic to them. Her work is grounded in a client-centred and trauma-informed approach, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and respect for each client’s pace and voice.

When working with children, youth, adults, families, Fatima takes time to understand the whole person, considering emotional experiences, relationships, developmental history, and environmental factors. This thoughtful and holistic lens supports the creation of treatment plans that are both personalized and practical, helping clients move toward meaningful change.

Fatima draws from a range of therapeutic approaches, including modalities such as CBT, EFT, play therapy, narrative therapy, and mindfulness, selecting tools that best align with each client’s needs, strengths, and goals.

Fatima has experience supporting individuals with concerns such as:

  • Grief and loss
  • Burnout and stress
  • Parenting concerns
  • Life transitions
  • ADHD and autism
  • Emotional awareness and regulation
  • Relationship and interpersonal concerns

Beyond clinical work, Fatima is particularly passionate about prevention and skill-building, supporting children, youth, and families in developing strong emotional foundations. She strives to create spaces that feel safe, engaging, and empowering, where clients can build insight, resilience, and lasting confidence.
