Cory has an undergrad in Psychology from St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia and a Masters of Education in Counselling Psychology from University of Western Ontario. For 15 years, she worked at George Brown College in the counselling office where she gained a wealth of experience working with a diverse population. Many clients had complex mental health diagonoses, issues with stress management, and most commonly, depression and anxiety.
Cory approaches her clients with warmth and openness. She helps clients to build self-esteem and discover strategies that help them achieve goals and flourish.
As a mom of four kids, Cory’s biggest priority is nurturing her own kids through conscious parenting actions. Parenting can be so rewarding, but also such a challenge and it is with her experience as a mom and as a counsellor that helps her to understand the common struggles kids and parents often face.
