You might choose to work with Cassandra if you’re looking for a therapist who is collaborative, trauma-informed and client-centred with a flexible approach that meets you where you’re at. Cassandra supports children and families in building insight, strengthening coping strategies, and developing more effective ways to navigate emotions, relationships, and daily challenges.

Therapeutic Modalities

Cassandra draws from a range of therapeutic modalities, including CBT, DDP, attachment and trauma-focused approaches, and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP). She incorporates mindfulness and grounding strategies as well as play-based interventions.

Credentials & Memberships

Cassandra has a BA in psychology, a BSW, an MSW, and an advanced Diploma in Child and Youth Work. She is a Registered Social Worker with the Ontario College of Social Work and Social Service Work, as well as a member of the Ontario Association of Social Work. Some of her additional certifications include:

  • Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) – Level 1
  • Certificate in Identifying and Addressing Problematic Parenting in Child and Adolescent Treatment – SickKids
  • FASD 101 – FASD NL Network.
