Margo Hinchberger

Senior Therapist

Margo has an academic background in psychology and applied behaviour analysis. She has received a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology (BA) and is currently working towards her Masters of Applied Disability Studies (M.ADS). Although her academic journey is still in progress, she hopes to be able to continue for the foreseeable future to increase her knowledge and ability to assist her clients. She is very enthusiastic and excited to be able to help individuals of all ages develop various skills and reach their goals.

Margo is passionate about bringing recreational techniques into the clinical setting as well as the individualized use of speech and assistive devices. Before joining Canoe Therapy, Margo was involved with Autism Ontario and Big brothers Big Sisters. These experiences have caused her to develop an analytic perspective and compassionate approach.

In her spare time, Margo enjoys reading, relaxing with family and friends, and watching Marvel movies! She even recently started training and racing in Triathlons on the side.
