Hailey DeMelo

Senior Therapist

Hailey’s educational background includes an Honours Bachelor Degree in Sociology from Brock University and a Graduate Certificate in Autism and Behavioural Science from Niagara College. She is continuing her educational journey and completing her Master’s Degree in Applied Disability Studies with a specialization in Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) at Brock University.

Before joining the Behaviour Therapy team at Canoe, Hailey worked as an Instructor Therapist in clinic-based and community-based therapy environments, and a Personal Support Worker (PSW) for adults with developmental/physical disabilities. Hailey is currently working towards pursuing certification as a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA).

In her spare time, Hailey enjoys travelling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends.
