Elizabeth is from New York and completed her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy in Troy, NY at Sage Graduate School in 2009. She is a registered and licensed Occupational Therapist in the USA and a member of the American Occupational Therapy Association as well as registered with the College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario, and a member of the Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists.
She began her pediatric journey in Australia working at an intensive outpatient pediatric clinic in 2011 running social skills groups, school readiness groups and 1:1 sessions. She has worked in a variety of settings with extremely diverse individuals. She has practiced as an OT in multiple adult rehabilitation centers in Skilled Nursing facilities since 2010. In 2012 she started working at Blythedale Children’s hospital in Valhalla, New York where she worked with children in outpatient, inpatient and school settings. Over 4 years working at Blythedale, she gained significant experience in providing Occupational Therapy services for children with various diagnosis.
Elizabeth has experience with visual perceptual skills, fine motor skills, executive functioning, motor planning, ADL skills and sensory processing and integration. It is important to understand how the mind and body connect and the way a child learns in order for the most benefit for optimal learning!
She is a strong believer of continuing education and has completed the following training/workshops:

Outside of work, Elizabeth is a CanFitPro Certified Personal Trainer, CPR Certified, marathon runner, outdoor enthusiast, dog loving and mom of two!
